FAQS

What is the mission of Pack 15?
- To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

What does Cup Scouts do?
- Some of the best parts of Cub Scouting are the hands-on activities: camping, hiking, Pinewood Derby races, field trips, and service projects that support our community and the people who live here. Cub Scouting is about doing. Our activities are designed to get Scouts away from screens, encourage them to try new things, and help them build valuable life skills through real-world experiences.

Do parent have a role?
- Yes. Cub Scouting is a family-centered program that helps children develop strong values, build confidence, and form lasting relationships with their families. Scouting provides opportunities, activities, and mentors that support your child’s growth. However, parents remain an essential part of the experience. Your involvement helps reinforce the skills, values, and confidence your child develops throughout their Scouting journey.

Can siblings join too?
- Yes and no. At Pack 15, we believe Scouting is a family experience, so parents and siblings are always welcome to participate. We have also created an unofficial “Dragon” rank so younger children can feel included in the fun and activities. Parents may purchase a Dragon shirt from the Pack so their child has a uniform of their own. However, children must be in kindergarten to officially join Cub Scouts.

Can I volunteer?
- Pack 15 is always looking for parents who are interested in volunteering. Volunteering is a great way to spend meaningful time with your child as they grow, while giving you a front row seat to their Scouting experience. Whether you have a little time or a lot, there are flexible opportunities to get involved. To volunteer, please complete the contact form here.
