View All Events→Webelos & Arrow of Light Backpacking Overnight - Zilmer Loop Trail System
This is a fun activity for our older Cub Scouts, and we had great success with it last year. We have reserved a campsite/backpacking shelter along the Ice Age Trail at the Zillmer Trails Complex. Scouts will take a short, one-mile hike on fairly level terrain from the parking lot to the campsite, where they will be introduced to primitive camping in a low-risk environment. Both Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts will learn about setting up a campsite, trail cooking, nature exploration, survival skills, first aid, and much more. We'll pack as much camping knowledge and fun as possible into one overnight adventure. Don't worry if your family isn't fully equipped for backpacking yet—we'll help you figure it out and make sure everyone has what they need for a successful experience.
MTSD Back to School Bash
Pack 3852 will host a Cub Scout table at the MTSD Back to School Bash. Please stop by and say hi and tell your friends all about Cub Scouting.
Wilson Elementary Meet the Teacher Night
Pack 3852 will host tables at the front and back doors of Wilson Elementary School. Please come by and say hi, send your friends over to learn more about Cub Scouts. Also, we’d love to have you volunteer to take a shift to tell people why you love having your child in Cub Scouts!
