- Date: Saturday, April 25th - Arrival/Meeting time: Arrive at 9 AM; we'll depart from St. Lawrence at 8:30 AM. - Activity: Spreading mulch in flower beds and wood chips in the picnic area. - Schedule: - 9:00 AM: Arrival - 9:15 AM: Safety talk and instruction - 9:30 AM: Work begins - Requirements: Please bring water bottles, work gloves, a hat, and sunscreen. - Location: William Howard Taft National Historic Site (parking in the overflow lot off Southern Avenue). - Additional info: Scouting opportunity to learn about the historic Taft House (Citizenship in the Nation 7A prerequisite).
