What are the age requirements for joining?
Youth can join Scouts BSA if they are at least 10 years old and in the fifth grade, OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old, OR are age 11 but have not reached age 18.
Can parents get involved?
Absolutely! We welcome parent volunteers for various roles including committee positions, merit badge counselors, and activity chaperones.
What if my child has never been in Scouting before?
No problem! We welcome new Scouts at any time and have programs to help them get up to speed quickly. Every Scout starts their journey somewhere!
